Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

Made by Cartoonify respects the privacy of the families who trust us with their photos and personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how we handle it, and the choices available to you.

2. Information we collect

When you submit an order request or contact us, we may receive information such as your name, email address, personalization details, messages, uploaded photographs or other files, and other information you choose to provide.

Because our personalized products may feature children, photographs and personalization information may relate to a child. Our services are intended to be ordered and managed by adults. Children should not submit personal information directly through our website.

3. Photos you provide

By providing a photograph or other personal content, you confirm that you have the right or appropriate authority to provide it to us and to ask us to use it for the requested personalized product.

We use uploaded photographs only as necessary to create, revise, and finalize your personalized product.

Uploaded source photographs are deleted within 14 days after delivery of the final artwork and may be deleted sooner once you confirm that the artwork is final.

4. How we use your information

We may use the information you provide to:

• Create and personalize your requested products.
• Communicate with you about your request or order.
• Provide revisions, delivery, and customer support.
• Maintain necessary business and transaction records.
• Operate and improve Made by Cartoonify.

5. AI-assisted creation

Some Made by Cartoonify products are created using AI-assisted tools. When necessary to create your personalized artwork, photographs or other content you provide may be transmitted to third-party AI service providers for processing.

We do not use customer photographs to create unrelated products for other customers.

6. Service providers

We use service providers to help operate Made by Cartoonify. These may include website hosting and infrastructure providers, form-processing services such as Basin, and AI technology providers used to create personalized artwork.

These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their respective services. Depending on the provider, information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live.

7. Retention of other information

The short retention period described above applies specifically to uploaded source photographs. Finished artwork, communications, and necessary order or transaction records may be retained for customer service, re-delivery, recordkeeping, legal, or accounting purposes, unless deletion is requested or a different retention period is required by law.

8. Promotional use

We will not use photographs you provide, or personalized artwork created for your order, on our website, portfolio, advertising, social media, or other promotional materials unless you have given us permission to do so.

9. Sharing and selling information

We do not sell customers' personal information.

We share personal information only when necessary to provide our services, operate the website, comply with legal obligations, or protect our rights and the rights of others.

10. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including requesting access, correction, or deletion of information we hold about you.

You may contact us at privacy@madebycartoonify.com with a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

11. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
